I dunno. I've been reading a book on Roman History in its entirety and i recently read the thread title. I mean its obvious from a historical-perspective but I havent' been able to get it out of my mind. EVen mentioned that sometimes the media portrays women as having more power (behind every great man is a great woman meme origin), but it is extremely unlikely at least with any substance. But yeah...we gotta rewrite history to make women seem integral to parts of life that didn't even concern them.

What the Empire's rulers did is pretty amazing in scope and reach. Their quality of life wasn't that much different than ours in a really generous interpretation. Same kinda govt structure and somewhat similar pace of life. I mean this is very loosely speaking of course.

when we look around and see what a total shitshow the West has become it really hits me in the feelz. I think how basically really liberal with the best of intentions policies has gutted this country. I mean I can trace everything that has gone wrong back to women in govt, corps, etc. the past 100 years tbh.

I dunno if women are behind all of it but sometimes I also think about the design of trucks/SUVs. No matter how "manly" some of you miscers may think your 80K truck is, for at least the past 30 years much of auto design has been catered to women esp in this sector...but really likely every single type of car tbh (can't make the doors too heavy for busy stay at home moms!, touch screen has to be super friendly to a woman juggling the demands of her family, etc.). Some have dramatically altered their driveabilty to cater to women.

This is all LARGELY because research determined women/wives made much of the decisions of the household. The auto industry is particularly vulnerable to "the wife" approving the purchase aka having the final decision.
