Which music streaming service do you use?
Spotify?
Apple Music?
Amazon Music?
Youtube Music?
Other?
I used Apple Music for a while. I decided to check out Amazon Music, so I used their 30-day free trial. Apple Music has a cleaner, more eye-pleasing layout than Amazon Music does. But I actually find the sound to be better on Amazon Music. The music plays louder on Amazon Music at the same volume level on my phone, and I feel that the vocals and treble come out clearer and more detailed. I think I'm going to stick with Amazon Music and cancel Apple Music
I haven't used Spotify. In all honesty, my reason is that it's the most widely used service, and I like to go against the herd, to some extent
I haven't really tried Youtube Music. Many years ago, I used to use an app called Trebel, but buying coins got annoying

I buy CDs, because then I actually own them. Plus if I buy an album on the strength of a couple of tracks I usually end up finding others that I like that I would have otherwise missed.
Then I rip them and stream them from my own home server to an app on my phone, with no subscription required.
It's tough being alpha as fuk.

Spotify, but it's garbage. Can't find specific songs in my Saved list, can't organize saved songs by Artist or Song Title. Freezes on ads everytime.
I used to torrent albums in FLAC, but when you only like 1 song on an album it's waste of time and space

Spotify
Only listen to death metal, Motorhead, Kid Rock and true crime podcasts for the car or headphones.
If I want to listen to music at home I've got a turntable, CD player, stereo amp and a pair of floor standing speakers set up in my study.

I riopped all my CD's back in the early 2000's and still have a few thousadn songs from that. I also used to buy them here and there, but then my niece told me about Spotify, so I got the duo plan for me and her. She is kind of messed up because her family is trash and I like to do nice thinghs for her.

Amazon ftw . I hate compression, and Amazon’s paid service has the same bit rate as a CD and actually better in a lot of cases . I wish I had known about them years ago srs .

I finally relented and started steaming last year though . That was after I learned Amazon’s paid subscription is lossless

Part of the charm is having them all on shelves - when I'm at home I like to choose an album, put it in the (decent quality) CD player connected to my hi-fi, and just enjoy the music while I look at the album art and read the liner notes. It becomes an experience in itself vs just having endless music piped in through some airpods or whatever whilst doing something else.

Spotify. Tried Apple Music and enjoyed it, but the song discovery wasn’t as good as Spotify.
