I asked Gemini where a single 40 year old man should live to maximize lifestyle ROI

I projected some basic info and gave said 40 year old male a net worth of 2 million with an annual salary of 350k (tree fiddy to keep it misc friendly)

Here is what Gemini shared with me. Do you agree?

Since wealth maximization is not your primary goal, you can prioritize locations that offer the highest "lifestyle ROI"—places where your $350k income and $2M net worth provide seamless access to elite social circles, high-end dating opportunities, and world-class recreation.

1. New York City, New York (Manhattan)
NYC remains the premier destination for an affluent single man in his 40s due to its unmatched density of successful peers and a statistically favorable dating environment.

-Lifestyle Draw: You have access to "member-only" social clubs like Casa Cipriani or Soho House, world-class performing arts, and a culinary scene that is among the best in the world.

-Dating Advantage: Manhattan has a significant gender imbalance, with roughly two single women for every single man in certain demographics. For men in their 40s, the pool of high-achieving, never-married, or divorced professionals is immense.

-Housing: Your net worth allows you to live in elite neighborhoods like the West Village, Chelsea, or Tribeca without the financial stress that most New Yorkers face.

2. Atlanta, Georgia
Often ranked as the #1 city for singles in the U.S., Atlanta offers a sophisticated, "green" urban landscape that is particularly vibrant for single professionals.

-Lifestyle Draw: Known for its high number of shopping centers, spas, and social clubs per capita. It provides a high quality of life with a lush, suburban feel even within the city.

-Dating Advantage: Atlanta is cited as having a "dating empire" for men, specifically noted for a high population of college-educated single women in their 30s and 40s.

-Housing: Affluent areas like Buckhead or Midtown offer luxury high-rises and historic estates that are very accessible at your income level.

3. Denver, Colorado
For a high-earner who prioritizes health and the outdoors over "prestige," Denver is the top choice for active singles.

-Lifestyle Draw: The focus here is on fun and adventure rather than pretentiousness. You are minutes away from world-class hiking, skiing, and mountain biking.

-Dating Advantage: Denver consistently ranks in the top 5 for "Dating Opportunities" due to its concentration of healthy, professionally ambitious singles.

-Housing: Neighborhoods like Cherry Creek or LoDo (Lower Downtown) offer a mix of high-end lofts and luxury boutiques.

4. Miami, Florida
Miami is a global hub that caters specifically to the lifestyle of the high-net-worth individual, emphasizing luxury, social status, and year-round activity.

-Lifestyle Draw: Unbeatable for beachfront living, yachting culture, and an elite social scene centered around Art Basel, international boat shows, and nightlife.

-Dating Advantage: Ranked as a top city for singles due to its large available population, though it is often noted as a "tough" but high-reward market.

-Housing: Areas like Brickell (the "Wall Street of the South") or Coconut Grove offer high-security, ultra-luxury living

5. San Diego, California
If "near-perfect weather" and a laid-back but upscale vibe are your priorities, San Diego is frequently cited as "America's Finest City" for single men.

-Lifestyle Draw: A high-end recreation paradise with 25 miles of coastline, world-famous parks, and a more relaxed pace of life than NYC or LA.

-Dating Advantage: It boasts a high population density and a vibrant social scene, making it easy to meet new people daily.

-Housing: Neighborhoods like La Jolla or Little Italy provide high-end coastal living and an active, walkable social core

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Personally, I strongly disagree on number 1, 4, and 5 as being able to living an upscale lifestyle in these locations. 2 mil net worth and 350k salary is good, but you would be getting absolutely mogged in these cities hard. Atlanta and Denver offer some upscale living with that financial background. Still not truly elite but you could partake in some luxury entertainment options within reason as long as it wasn't a continuous thing as well as afford some of the better neighborhoods to buy a home as well.

On the dating scene, Atlanta is ghetto-ville and Miami is sugar baby-ville. Neither of these seem like good locations for a single 40 year old man. I agree NYC has some appeal with the 2:1 ratio it cites assuming you are willing to navigate the liberal psychopaths that live in that city. Denver and SD seem the most based and highest appealing on that factor from the list.

From what it gave back I think Denver and SD are the only good suggestions here. I'm a little surprised something like Scottsdale, AZ didn't show up, or maybe Austin, TX. Maybe they don't have the lifestyle appeal to crack the list according to AI. Financially and dating I would think they would be good spots though

The point of having money is so that you don't have to live around black people.

LOL @ recommending Atlanta.

I wonder if it would give different suggestions if I told it this person was a white male. Probably not because these AI tools are constructed not to discriminate which imo shows their limitations to give the best outputs possible.

I ask chat GPT questions about sports training sometimes and one time, I phrased the prompt to consider that the conventional wisdom could be wrong because the average athlete is dumb as rocks.

I didn't say anything about the color of the athlete but chat GPT refused to answer and gave me an angry pink warning box saying that my question violated content guidelines.

I asked it to revise the list for a white male and it said the list stands regardless of race lmao. It even acknowledged Atlanta is known as the Black Mecca but still refused to drop it down the rankings

Why would a white male want to live in an area known as the Black Mecca?

AI exposed as shit

I don't know, to be fair I have heard that NYC really is lopsided with it's women to men ratio. There is some advantage to stepping in to an environment where you have a 2:1 advantage. If you want to bat above your league, that's how you would do it.

Yes you would have to navigate the negatives of NYC and personally I think NYC is a shit hole and would not live there. I think it's dirty, cramped, and filled with rude and dangerous people. Even still, I can see the appeal of having so many options for women. It really is the city that probably presents a truly endless supply of opportunities, more so than any other city.

Again, not really my personal vibe, but if you like cities it's not a terrible place for a single guy to go fishing. At the very least for plenty of hookups. Wife material prob not.

Obviously in a base model Tesla.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
