Is there a point when you would give up on fitness?

Like if you were fat and couldn’t lose the weight, or you’re too old?

Or would you never give up?

keep at it son

the saying "success is found in ur daily routine" is 100% true

but also have a strategy for the days where u are unable to walk before breakfast try to make the strategy robust so u have a fallback plan this is how u build success in the long run and stay on track

Don't ever give up ACE. You remember how you felt after that long walk a couple weeks ago when you had your blood drawn? Never give up ACE.

I hear you shouldn't train to failure or very near to it, when you hit 50 because you may have a heart attack. Can anyone confirm is this true or not?

ive seen people who are paralyzed from the waist down in wheelchairs pull up to the gym and do whatever workouts they can.

Zero excuses for people with 2 working legs to be fat.

I do mainly agree with you, Someone has to keep the flame. Someone has to weed out those who haven't got what it takes. The champions, the legends…..they serve as a purpose, a challenge, an incentive.
Those guys who went from 350 pounds to 180 didn’t do it by magic, they cut back on their calories

this guy did it before he met his fat plus size ex wife who ended up leaving him again after she enabled him to get fat again

went from 310+ to 170. dieting hard, lifting and cardio

then he simped and fell for a fat sloot. got back into eating with her and rotting, because she is a slob, he gained it all back and more

absolutely disgusting regain

became a bit of a slayer at 170. forget the loose skin, his face was decent

now looks like dog sh*t at like 320+

I don’t drink alcohol, use drugs, or smoke tobacco so there’s really no reason I can’t get into shape, even at 55. I can’t argue with your logic

Just drastically cut your calories. Skip meals every day. It's not easy being hungry, takes self-control to refuse to eat. Drink lots of water, cut out sugar from your diet.

If I put you on an island and come back in 2 months, you'll see a difference. It's all about the calories.

I was sort of like that at 25-27, just thought I couldn't gain muscle effectively without bloatmaxx.

Glad I stuck it thru, now I wasn't natty but my diet and training regime was strict

Pic: 5'9 183lbs

Now I have to try not to over eat at night or I gain fat, but rn 20% bodyfat 205lbs

At this point, zero chance. I'll be going to the gym for the rest of my life. I almost went nuts over Covid when the gyms closed, and eventually started driving 40 minutes each way to another state to visit the gym.

It's fitness compared to being sedentary, so better than nothing, but it's not training. What I like about walking for losing weight is the time it takes. People who have trouble with controlling calories should schedule a nice long walk during the time when they tend to snack. Replace a bad habit with a good one.

Let's not call something it's not. Words have meaning. It is not fitness. It is a step (literally) towards fitness. No one is getting fit by walking.

Doesnt seem to be much of a point to do it without gear. All the broscience makes it hard to actually figure out what works.
