Years ago I read about a guy in his 20's, who was living with his parents, who had defaulted on a bunch of credit cards and was two months behind on his car payment that needed $1000 worth of repiars anyway, but then he got an inheritance when grandma died.

Instead of paying everything off, he quit his job, then bought a new car and clothes and a computer and stuff and just let his old car get repoed, then moved away for his new job he got and then bankrupted averything. He got to keep his new car with the BK wild card exemptions.

I think OP should split the money between all the poorcels and debtcels here so they can all do that.

We have guy in town who inherited $1000 a day for life . His uncle lost his son to drugs , so he made one condition . His nephew only gets the 1K a day if he provides proof that he’s working full time . Doesn’t matter if it’s WalMart , but he has to bring proof to his late uncles lawyer .
I thought it was a good idea tbh , and apparently that 1K a day doesn’t even affect the principle.

No idea what happens when he retires . Maybe there’s a clause that says he gets the entire thing when he turns 65 , dunno .

But he’s not hurting as he has more fking toys than BatMan . His motor home is worth over a million, he has a big foot truck , a dragster that he races in Spokane Washington, several jacked up trucks worth easily 200k each with mods , a logging truck ,new house you name it
