I generally agree but some people do need it. My dad had multiple strokes and can no longer work (possibly forever). If he didn’t receive government assistance, he’d probably starve to death srs. Nobody else in our family has enough money to support him.

What pisses me off though is how the system will deposit 5 figures on a debit card for illegals or give these whores with 5 kids from different baby daddies food stamps, but the ones who actually need the help get fucked over.

My pops had to jump through a dozen hoops just to get approved for food stamps. They threatened to shut off his utilities before HEAP finally approved him and to this day, 9 months after the strokes, he’s still getting forced to interviews and more paperwork to keep his disability. It’s fucked up mane.

If one is racist then it only makes sense to support/increase welfare as it almost guarantees those who are born in the same neighborhoods/zipcodes, die in them, and out of your little Sallys school.

Well, we have to end apartheid for one.

And slow down the nuclear arms race, stop terrorism and world hunger.

We have to provide food and shelter for the homeless, and oppose racial discrimination and promote civil rights, while also promoting equal rights for women.

We have to encourage a return to traditional moral values.

Most importantly, we have to promote general social concern, and less materialism in young people.

even if a significant proportion of welfare recipients are abusing the system, the amount of money they get is pitiful. $1000 a month is the bare minimum - it's certainly not a life of luxury. i don't think people living on welfare deserve all the hate they get.

the people who are truly stealing from society are wealthy people and corporations who make billions of dollars, and yet they pay very little in taxes because they can afford top tier lawyers who abuse loopholes.

but of course, there are a lot of morons in America who worship rich people and allow them to get away with hoarding wealth because "herp derp maybe i will make it someday, and i wouldn't want anybody stealing my hard earned money".

Thank you. Definitely - he had 2-3 jobs at a time from when I was in middle school until a few months before his strokes, when he got so burnt out he couldn't handle it anymore.

But it made me realize health is the most important thing we have.

I could go on SS disability today (other than the fact I'm not disabled) and make $1000 more a month than if I continue working until I'm 62 and take SS retirement. It's not surprising that 10% of SS recipients are on disability and not retirement.

After getting hit by an illegal immigrant who ran a stop sign 3 years ago, I physically was not able to return to work for almost 90 days. While I still have devestating injuries from it, I was able to get 3 months of welfare assistance. I would def have been homeless during that time if I didn't receive help from the govt. Although it was technically my government while allowed all of these subhuman cockroaches into the state so I'm not sure if I should really be grateful for them.
