In before leftist rage.
It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife: the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sunup. Sleep tight mates, in your quilted chambray night shirts.

Fishy is desperate to look for any win since all his Iran predictions predictably blew up in his face.

Maybe you should try buying some stonks sometime instead of being appalled at the thought of making money?

Bingo.

Fishman didn't bring up the economy. He just brought up the stock market. But, the economy isn't bad at all, unless you're a homeless socialist.

I mean I'll take it, my portfolio has been getting joocy, but it was under Brandon as well and I sure as chit wasn't going to Democrats because of that, and I assume most people aren't going to vote for Republicans just because of that either

If only most Americans knew about how high the stockmarket is, then they wouldn't be complaining about skyrocketing gas, electricity, beef, rent, home prices, etc

Except that was already happening.

Peak Price: The national average peaked at $5.016 on June 14, 2022.Starting Price:

When Biden took office in Jan 2021, the average was approximately $2.39 - $2.46.

So you pay the same at the pump under Trump as Biden, but now you get 30 million less illegals and you dont go to prison for wrong think or simply wanting a 2nd opinion before you childs body is mutilated.

Can I mail in my 7 votes now??

You are right, and most people who do, unless you are living of your 401K or really wealthy it doesn't make much difference. It's an indicator just like GDP. However, most administrations use it as proof of success when it's good.

One thing that is an indicator we should all be looking is median and average wage growth as compared to inflation. Home ownership rates. Small business openings. These things have not been good for a long time. Sometimes worse than others, but nothing to brag about. Unemployment rate and time it takes to get new employment, as well as personal bankrupcy and foreclosure rates are important as well.

I would save your cope energy though, the iran war price spikes have only just started.

Butwolfiebro, there's a lot more people who do or at least have some form of retirement account that is tied to the stock market. Nobody is stopping anyone from opening an account for their future.

That stat includes people with a 401K or retirement fund. 1/3 of the country has no investments, period.

Its worse. 50% of Americans will "retire" with ZERO investments OR savings tomorrow. 100% reliant on social security. The rate at which young people invest is growing, but still not mass adoption unfortunately. And of those who are investing, its usually pennies because their margin is so small at the end of the month. Sad because compounding interest is basically the only counter to inflation considering wage growth is a joke since 1971 and 99% of people are reliant on global markets.

The saddest thing is when people realize the magic of compounding interest and auto investing...when they are in their 60's and staring down the barrel of retirement. Too little too late.

If you start early enough and have enough discipline, you choose what side of the "K" economy you are on.

Yeah...I mean it's cool and all, and yes I have significant amounts invested, but if everything keeps getting more and more expensive and the economy in general sucks...then it's kind of cope to simply focus on "muh portfolio" and the exclusion of everything else.

Well then thats their fault, because everything I said was accurate.

We wiped out 1/2 a trillion dollars invested and decades of Iranian(which has the GDP of Connecticut) nuclear/military buildup in a couple of weeks.

Put a fork in them, they dun...Jack!
