Have no idea about the mindset - always found it strange. If with someone, it will have to be someone I care deeply aboot. And if do that, there is no way in hell I am even tempted to cheat. Had the chance to etc but not tempted in the least.

I’ve cheated before way back in the day like over 10 years ago and only felt guilty when she found out and I saw how upset she was. But the simple act of cheating I didn’t feel guilty about at all… Only the consequences of it.

It’s tough to feel guilty without actually hurting someone. Cheating on someone without them knowing is wrong and awful but it doesn’t hurt them unless they find out.

Anyways in saying that feeling guilt shouldn’t be a deterrent for bad behaviour. You should avoid doing things that are wrong despite if you don’t feel guilt.

Remember hooking up with a san antonian woman very long ago. Ppl at bars etc randomly called out ”leo” my way so apparently I looked somewhat like him at the time.

I think there’s a few different categories for men.

If you’re a natural Chad and always used to having options and women interested in you, I don’t think there would be any remorse for cheating cuz deep down you know the girl you’re with with will still want you and even if she doesn’t you could get another girl.

If you’re not a Chad and had to earn your pussy, then You value the relationship because you know if you lose it, it won’t be easy to get another quality girl. I think that guy feels guilty.

Either way, I think both reactions are based on the consequences, not the innate morality.

Often the guilt is a part of it. The anticipation of maybe being caught, the process of hiding, that's what the person is addicted to.The thrill of doing something wrong.

The sex is secondary, which is why you see so many men throw their lives away for someone who isn't anywhere as good as their current partner.
