No naturalized citizen from China should ever be allowed to serve in any government position that requires a security clearance.

As far as people acting as foreign agents that standard needs to be applied equally to all countries including Israel

The "acting as a foreign agent" part is legal and is widespread. I'd guess Isreali agents are the most common, it could be checked.

The catch is that it has to be disclosed when acting at the direction of foreign government agency to influence a US government agency. Most understand the process and it's easy to keep it legal by filling out a form, but I all but guarantee it is selectively enforced.

This lady fucked up by committing what a lot of people might dismiss as a "process crime" and is paying the penalty for being a retard. That's good, but I agree, the standard should be applied equally.

That might feel good to say. It probably wouldn't make anything better tho.

Unless you don't like our system of government in America, which I guess a lot of people don't anymore, if we're going to allow legal immigration then there's no issue with allowing them to legally run for office. Maybe you could frame it as no taxation without representation or something clever like that.

That's what I meant by "legally" run for office, it would of course exclude the president and anyone who didn't meet residency requirements.

There are something like 500,000 elected government officials in the US. I couldn't care less if the mayor of PunkTown was born somewhere else as long as they follow the law.

What if we applied this same standard to those working as Israeli agents?

With that being said, I'm not surprised this is going on in CA. They've known about it for years now, but nothing done until now.

They need to look into newsome more.
