People with Downs live shorter lives, so they get their SSI at 50 instead of 62.

What's crazy is the life expectancy of downs was 25-30 in the 1980s. They seem to be very susceptible to lung conditions like pneumonia

This. I've been to certain McDonald's where you can't even communicate with them. And they don't seem too bright to begin with.
