there are very few people who rise above the noise of everyone else and whom you HAVE to talk about. Taylor Swift, Donald Trump, Tom Cruise are at the top with a few others, then it sorta drops and you're talking about people who are recognizable but not extraordinary. The rest are pretty boring. Even the supposed stars, many just seem to just shine bright for a bit then fade away and then onto the next potential big name.

I almost think it comes down to having the "right" name...I mean would we would be so quick to reference good ole' AH if his name was Albert Holatovsky? However AH just rolls of the tongue (which is good cuz he was right about a lot)

I have never understood the appeal of Colbert. He wasn't funny to me on Comedy Central, and he just got worse on late night from the clips I've seen (haven't watched late night in probably 15 years bc it's just not funny)

Also don't understand the hate for Donald Trump. Nobody ever even really thought about the dude until he ran for President. He was always just kind of in our lives but nobody gave af about him. All of Hollywood, the media, politicians were all his supposed friends prior. The second he ran against Hillary it was a full blown onslaught against him to make him out like Hitler and continues to this day. Like lol what's his crime? He beat Hillary and Kammie-La. Get over it.

Probably stems from Obama and just spiraled into what it is today. Obama spied on Trump during his first run, didn't expect him to win so then they had to cover it up. Obama went on the offensive rather than playing defense for the treason that was committed. Weaponizing the media has always been the tool of the left and they had to protect Obama.

It seriously probably all ties back to Obama.

goes back to what i was saying. its almost like you need a symbol and some people really represent. i mean taylor swift conjures up so much by mentioning her name (beauty, success, fame) whatever or however good her music may or may not be. Of course you'll get naysayers but whatever your personal beliefs the camera stays on her no matter what or whom is surrounding her. Same with Trump.

there'll always be some issue that is negative in the news and the MSM desperately needs to pin it on someone or something...preferably as i said a person who is "not boring" aka forgettable. i mean just think how much content you simply forget about DAILY. you read a story, watch a clip and 30 minutes later its like "oh yeah". nothing resonates. if you wanna make someone the bad guy they need to resonate

personally, I think its great that Trump is talked about so much. I bet no one enjoys it more than DJT himself tbh.

Oh Trump definitely soaks it all up. He's a master troll and loves every bit of it. I mean lol he lived on twitter for years and now does on TruthSocial.

He also grew up in the prime of his life under Reagan and saw the USA bitch slap Russia into ruin, bomb Gaddafi and tell him "cut the chit bro or else", everything prospering and then we had 20+ years of idiots running this country. So glad he stepped in and reformed the country. I can't believe I cast my ballot for a freaking Mormon like Romney but hey it was vs Obama who is the worst thing that ever happened to this country so I give myself a pass on that one.
