Am I going to dieded ? 24.5 on diabetes meter srs

So for the first time ever my doctor said my blood sugar levels came back high and to get another test immediately. I thought maybe it’s the hangover so I went and bought a meter today and low and behold it’s high AF . Well that’s what Google tells me.
But I ate a bowl of ice cream b4 I did the test , but regardless, shouldn’t it be like 7.0 after eating ice cream max if I was healthy .

The thing that sucks is I brought this on myself, as when I tore my tendons back in October I had no choice but to quit working out , so I’ve been chocolate maxing way too frequently. Apparently there’s no going back once you’ve got diabetes type 2 . You can manage it with weight loss, but I guess the damage is done .
To make matters worse I fell off my step ladder last December and haven’t been walking because my foot’s definitely not fully healed . I should have gotten an X-ray when it happened , but i didn’t have the pain I normally associate with a fracture so I said fk it. Didn’t want to sit in emergency for 11 hours either like last time .

Anyways I’m down to 20.4 on the scale a few hours later , so at least it’s going down . I googled it and it said 24.5 needs immediate medical attention, but I don’t really have any symptoms other than my vision is a bit blurry , but I think that may be from too much pron srs

i had blood work and an ultrasound done recently. my doctor diagnosed me with fatty liver. he said my condition is mild, and it will likely go away if i keep losing weight. so thankfully i don't have cirrhosis or anything life-threatening like that.

keep in mind this is after losing 40 pounds, and after giving up alcohol for 4 months. if i continued on that unhealthy path, it would not have ended well for me.

OP you don't need to exercise to lose weight. i didn't exercise at all when i lost 40 pounds. focus on improving your diet boyo. diabetes is scary news. if you are lucky, it might reverse itself if you lose weight immediately srs. don't delay brah.

I am a diabetic and have been for about 26 years. I have been slacking and my avg blood glucose is 141, in Cucknadian numbers that's about 7.8, which isn't good BTW. It should be below 6.9, yours at 24.5 is about 440, which is getting to where you could fall into a diabetic coma and straight up die. Go see an endocrinologist. Given that it's Cucknada, they'll probably offer MAID, good luck.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Dang man I hope you get better soon and can tighten up. When we get injured it's SO hard to eat right without the structure and motivation the gym provides.

141 is impressive for a longtime type 1. My dad’s blood sugar is constantly spiking between 300-500 (ded fkin srs).

I'm type 2, but I've had it since I was a kid.

Cut out as much sugar and low quality carbs as you can, avoid snacking between meals and try to eat all your daily meals within an 8 hour window at least a few days per week. Eat lots of protein. Take some berberine HCL just before your meals. Make sure you have enough magnesium, D3, K2, and omega 3 in your diet, or supplement them if needed. Do some resistance training or HIIT at least a few days per week. Get 20 minutes of sunlight in the morning. If you consume salads, make the dressing with a base of olive oil and apple cider vinegar instead of slop dressings. Try to consume more whole fruits instead of fruit juices. Completely eliminate things like soda, ultra processed slop, etc. Try to keep your stress levels in check and get a solid 7 hours sleep, 8 if you need.

Those are some basic lifestyle and health suggestions to try to restore insulin sensitivity and improve your metabolic health. I just typed random thoughts so it might not be the smoothest read

Nobody on the misc knows the answer, and even if they did they won't have the credibility for you to believe them, so you should schedule an appointment with a doctor

Well maybe there’s a glimmer of hope . Ded srs candy is gone , as well as rinse maxing . I’m still hungover from Tuesday night , so I’m hoping that’s temporarily throwing chit out of whack .

Ya I’m thinking they will definitely put lethal injection on the table . It seems to be very popular with the ‘Liberal government, and people are getting ousted left right and centre.

Thx bruh . Chitty part is I should have been much careful with my diet till I heal up again . I never thought it would come to this srs , but I have noticed days where my vision ist great . Had no idea is was diabetes though , and now it’s making perfect sense . Srs I find when I spend too much time on my iPad that my vision is affected . But faurk , now I’m thinking it’s not the pron but my sugar levels.

Srs it sucks as I love Apple juice and bought like 60 bucks worth for my gym fridge as it gives me instant energy. Also bought some orange juice but it’s too acidic, so I only drink it on occasion. Guess they’re off the menu now to .
Problem is eating lots of protein is expensive AF now , and to save money I eat spaghetti on occasion . End well this won’t srs

Ya this most likely some srs chit . Makes me sick to as this has never been a problem till I quit walking and working out because of injuries.
But I brought it on myself,as I should have been watching my diet I guess . Sad part is I think this little fk up is non reversible, well that’s what my buddy with type 2 told me today .
You keep abusing your pancreas and he says it’s permanently damaged . He lost a ton of weight and walks every day , but regardless of that if he touches anything with high carbohydrates or alchohol , he’s back to a dangerous high reading again .

Naw srs I disagree . Misc is like this giant think tank with a plethora of information imo . Sure we give each other a hard time once in a while, but for the most part you guys are pretty smart logical imo .
Misc is my bible , but ya I probably will have to see a doctor soon. I’m going to monitor it and hopefully things return to normal when this hangover goes away. But I have a feeling I’m fked tbh

You CAN reverse it in some cases, so not all hope is lost.

I've been listening to some of these doctors who aren't part of the BigPharma (who just want to diagnose any and everyone with whatever, so they can push infinite meds on you for life)

Yes hes like Derek Jeter, but seems reasonable and rational. Check some other vids of his

https://www.youtube.com/@drsuneeldhand

Here is a different dietary person (not dr) who says how to reverse type 2:

I think you can reverse diabetes with diet and exercise. I don't believe once you get it over. Supplement with Milk thistle and vitamin B.

I don’t feel great tbh , like the hangover just ain’t going away . Waiting for the ER sloots to give me chit for driving upon testing

I had a gf with diabeetus and hers went up to 24.5 and we were like fuaarkk
For her it was the drug abuse that made insulin not lower her bloodsugar.

Well it looks like it’s official, I have type 2 diabetes. So I got up at 6 am and my blood sugar was still over 17 so I went to the ER . There they confirmed that I’m fked .
Anyways , I got some pills . Hopefully they work and I don’t have to shoot it insulin srs . I guess no more bee towers , no more candy . I love chocolate to dam it , so this life style change is gonna suck .
Spaghetti is cheap but not healthy at all of course , and to top it off I love Prego spaghetti sauce , and apparently that’s too high in sugar.
They make a low sugar version ,but I googled it and e everyone says it tastes like chit .
‘What’s sucks is I said I’d never drink whiskey again ,but I got bloated from the beer and drank half 40 three weeks ago and never felt quite right again.
I swear of I didn’t do that that I’d be fine , but the damage is done. So I have to make some major lifestyle changes I apparently. Oh yeaaah , it’s over srs

It takes these health scares to turn another page in life.
Srs.
Maybe you could turn the page to become a long distance runner.
I just saw a news article about this 70year old dude who ran 1400 maratons.
Endless possibilities when u cant rinse or eat junk anymore.
This was a blessing in disguise

I’m afraid to know . I was at 299 last year but by only eating out at Quesadilla and Edo’s Japan I lost 25 plus pounds . Then as my tendonitis got a bit better after a 3.5 year hiatus , I got down to 262. Was really looking forward to getting into the 250’s again when all hell broke lose .
I had a huge job to do removing my house’s chimney, which consisted of carrying bricks buy the bucket full for a few days . Not to mention 24 of breaking concrete with an undersized jack hammer .
Anyways I felt my elbows burning from tendonitis and thought faurk , it’s time to quit bench pressing with a bar again .
I thought I was ok but I was building some cupboards and the glue started setting already , but unfortunately one joint wasn’t lining up right .
I should have just took my mallet and broke it lose , but instead put a long Irwin clamp on it thinking I could move it that 1/8” I needed .
As I’m squeezing the clamp really hard all hell broke loose and I got some terrible pain in my elbow amd up the forearm like a bunch of tendons tore . That was last October and I’m still pretty much fked .
Then I fell off a ladder last year in my garage and fked my foot . Never got it X-rayed as it hurt like a mofo , but not the type of sharp pain you associate with a fracture. But that’s kept me from walking very far , as in the past I used to walk a few miles every second day .
I’m actually going to get it xrayed next week to see why it’s not healing very well.

I think the best solution is HD FTW

I've been listening to some of these doctors who aren't part of the BigPharma (who just want to diagnose any and everyone with whatever, so they can push infinite meds on you for life)

Yes hes like Derek Jeter, but seems reasonable and rational. Check some other vids of his

Here is a different dietary person (not dr) who says how to reverse type 2:

Or his 6 part videos:

Irrelevant-many doctors hold bizarre beliefs. Dr Oz is a great heart surgeon, he also holds group prayers before the operation. Many fully qualified doctors made & continue to make ridiculous unfounded claims about Covid Jabs. Those two are contradicted by science-the testing & peer reviews.
