Just slammed my dinner!

Worked this old tom for 4 hours spooked by moving at 730..flew down into valley on another mountain side. Took me an hour to ride truck over to the other mountain, went down in where I thot he'd be. Called, got him gobbling again and took me 2 hours of him circling me, gobbling before coming ino range. 10;05am a 3.5 inch magnum 12 ga flopped em at 30 yds





1 1/4" spurs, 9.5 inch beard

we dont have turkey here ...yet theyre starting to cross the border from new brunswick though so maybe in 20 years. the closest thing would probably be grouse or pheasant . u ever had canadian geese?

Does Wild Turkey really taste good enough to eat? Regular turkey isn't that good, and I'm sure wild turkey tastes more gamey....

u ever bought a old junker truck or car and taken it out in the woods until it blows up?. thats a thing around here. get 3-4 lads to ptich in on a 300$ shit box special and pick up a few bottles of rum and get hammered wrecking this shit box out in the woods

Id take hunting in shorts. Been shitty up here most season. Really cold first 2 weeks of season. Fkn flurries the first day 2 weeks ago. Ya, amazing how these damn birds can see so damn good, and hear with no ears..just holes in their head but they know exactly where sound is at from hundreds of yards away. Thru tough terrain

Edit: not to mention the deer ticks. Gotdam..found 2 on me so far. Gotta get a shower rn
