Is installing a mini split AC system a DIY project anyone can do?

Thinking of doing it myself to save money but not sure about drilling a big ass whole in my wall.

Are you just adding another duct from the main? Shouldn't be that hard if you are handy. I assume you're dropping it from the ceiling from an attic crawl space?
