But you have to admit Putin made a yuge mistake invading Ukraine. He will ultimately “win” the war, but it will be like how we “won” Iraq. Actually worse because after 4 years there are upwards of a million Russian casualties, a demographic crisis, thousands of losses in military equipment and infrastructure hits in their homeland. Russia is a weaker nation after this.

I think if the Russians had their hearts into it, they could take Ukraine, but they don't. A lot of people who visit Russia (a Miscer did in the old forum) reported that it's like there is no war. Most of the troops killed are convicts and people who otherwise have no real options, in other words, Russia's less desirables. It's a net positive for Russia if those people die off.

No doubt. Everyone knew this was going to happen especially after 2014 and they had been preparing for it. Same thing with Iran, Iran has been preparing for exactly what the US is doing.

I know this much, cheap drones have changed warfare. I do believe that countermeasures will get more advanced and then the cheap drones won't work, so more expensive, more advanced drones will come out which will turn it into a high tech high price option of the futher. But for now, swarms of cheap drones are a nightmare.
