Since MSG is like a mile from grand central station, I was able to go right from work and take a late train home. So much freaking fun. I love seeing happy jubilant sports fans celebrating a victory (as long as it's not against my favorite team.) Knicks fans have witnessed so much heart break and haven't won since 1973. But the entire street outside the arena was packed with fans with everyone just celebrating the moment.

I know people will call it stupid to follow and root for a sports team and also things like "We won." But having seen so many fathers with their sons come out of the game all happy and bonding over the win, it does serve a much higher purpose. Some of the greatest bonding moments with my late father was watching the Patriots and Tom Brady years from 2001-2020, and getting to watch 8 super bowls together.

Def going to stand outside MSG if the Knicks make it to the finals.

I think they'll make the finals, but beating OKC or San Antonio seem like a stretch

Midtown is a tourist-packed hell anyway so god knows how bad it'll be if the Knicks go all the way. I'm around Penn Station a lot so aye. Staying out of town that week!
