I really want to go on a long fast

I only had an iced coffee today, I want to go on a very long fast.

Problem is I know the beginning is the most difficult, I feel if I could go a couple days it would get easier to keep going.

The important thing is I keep trying to lose weight and experimenting with different techniques, I know its not supposed to be easy or everyone would be doing it.

And don't say I'm asking too much of myself starting out with fasting multiple days at a time, I prefer extreme approaches because I feel it gives extreme results.

Mashed potatoes with boiled eggs would be so good right now, but I'm gonna try to go all day without eating, and tomorrow as well if I can last all day today, I'm going to give it a good shot.

Even if I fail I will keep trying.

The alternative is just give up and become one of the 350 lb slobs I see at walmart.

would be better if you had a scale, you could weigh yourself literally every hour, and if it's going down 0.1lbs, it is motivation to keep pushing. before you know it, half the day is gone, and you see progress (on the scale), and when you wake up its like another 1lb gone

longest fast i did was 210hrs. though i was having monster zeros so not sure if that counts

its much easier to get through the first 24/48hrs if you have avoided carbs for a week or so, you wont have that craving from blood glucose dropping. so protein/fat for a few days, and you are good to go

if you choose to walk for 1hr+ at all, best take electrolytes or you will burn yourself out/feel fatigued, easier to rot and just sleep if you can manage it

After you break that initial phase of hunger ur stomach fucks off and gets the message. I actually become opposite of hungry eventually, it’s always hard to get anything down after a long fast.

Buy some bottles of Gatorade zero to keep some electro lytes up during the fast
When he regains consciousness, double the voltage.

Here's what you do johnvee. Go buy low sodium chicken bouillon powder. Mix one teaspoon with two cups of water. Drink that right before you eat.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Being slightly above average, consistently is more effective than doing extreme things like fasting and then rebounding to your old ways.

If you want to lose weight or do anything aim for being a bit above average over a long period of time.

So for you that means just taking lunch or whatever and cutting that portion by 25 percent and doing 2.5k steps in addition to what you’re doing now. There is no need to do ridiculous fasting routines.

Wrong he could do a 15 day no water fast then hop on keto if he wanted to stay thin or continue the fast forever and experience true way of freedom.

Doesn’t seem like a very enjoyable way to live.

Would rather just cut calories, maybe do a few days per week of skipping breakfast and eat all the pasta and pizza I want.

What’s the point of living if you can’t enjoy carbs.

You can still eat pizza and pasta on keto just not everyday.

You can eat keto 6 days a week then do a cheat day of pizza whatever else drink a 6 pack and won't make you gain weight.

Damn boyo, would love to go 210 hours fasting, the fat would just melt off.

I've been walking 2 hours everyday consistently.

Yeah some people start having their body reject food after not eating for a long time.

I get it, try to trick yourself into thinking your gut is already full, if fasting doesn't work I might try it. Fasting WILL work as long as I commit to it.

I'm only replying to you because you're not a red, you seem angry boyo, I haven't gotten laid in almost 15 years and I'm not even that hateful.

I know boyo, consistency beats intensity usually, I just want results NOW, lol.

As a teen I would often go days without eating, I was severely underweight until I became an adult, the issue with food now is when I start eating I don't stop, I really feel I would be better off not eating at all, I'll eat a normal meal and it just makes me want food more, I tried fasting before and as a reward I would eat something and it was just a tease and made me gorge myself, I really think starvation is the answer.

I'm not doing that, the days where I give myself full reign I would be eating 6k calories.

I really think a extreme approach, like simply stop eating is what might work for me.

u would be surprised i am willing to bet u that u will actually not eat so much more on the rest of the days srs

the reason is that there many many thousands of people has had success doing 5:2 which means they are no overcompensating on normal days

try 1 week that is all just 1 week and if u find u overeat a lot on the normal days then u have proven me wrong

the reason i do not think u should do many days fasting is that fasts affects the mind and u need to have ur mind intact not eating has an enormous impact on ur state of mind and hormones u do not want to trigger a bad state of mind

Fasting is way easier than global life training.

It’s not even comparable.

Global life training requires you to exert some sort of mental effort while fasting only takes some restraint. You could just sleep and lay in bed without eating which is really easy.

I've already fasted for a full day before and make the mistake of rewarding myself with a meal after a day of fasting, I just rebound and eat like 5 thousand calories.

Yeah boyo, global life training proved to be very difficult, it probably weeded out like 90% of applicants, but they literally had people who in 3 days passed the 40 hour training course, it wasn't me lol.
