I am excited about a milestone moment in my life tonight...

So yeah I have been consuming alcohol sometimes since a long time, its always beer or whiskey mixed with coca cola...but tonight I am drinking whiskey neat with ice cubes, would be tough but I am doing it tonight...could add in little water if I find it difficult, but that would kinda hurt the purpose...

I found out why functioning alcoholics (whom are financially well off) always have a mini-bar/shelf with a bunch of different types of liquor. If u drink the same shiet regularly, u build up tolerance and continue needing more and more of it.

I typically drink 5-7 shots of vodka. The other day, i had like 2 1/2 cans of beer and had a blast. Yesterday, I had 2 glasses of wine and had a blast. I'll prob stick to beer/wine until I find myself building tolerance to this. Then i'll go back to vodka and my tolerance would be lowered to 2-3 shots.

I am using the small standard ice cubes, lots of them, would refill when required...i could drink whiskey straight but its hot weather and I won't like the liquor burning in my chest...

Yeah, its like if I drink moderate alcohol after a few weeks, I would have lots of fun, but next day drinking same quantity would not be so much fun and convenient, until there is diminishing pleasures by the 3rd day, best to apply brakes.

Lame. Get a proper cube, it will dilute slower and keep the drink cold for longer, so the ouchie doesn’t hurt your chest.

Have you tried just not drinking shit whisky?

Decent whisky is fine neat. Ice is usually only needed if you're drinking something shite. Like Jack Daniels. Or Johnnie Walker Red.

Bruh , I’m a poster child for what not to . Went on a runaway on my 65th Bday . Had a dozen beers and thought wtf I’ll have whiskey one last time .
Drank half a 40 of Gibsons and Pepsi , and never felt good since . Go to the doctor just find out I’ve got the diabetes .

Srs I know diabetes is progressive, but if I just stuck to beer I believe I’d be fine right now . Makes me sick that I can’t eat anything good again srs .
If could do it all over again I’d never touch hard liquor under any circumstances .
Stick with beer and try to do a little moderation , or you’ll end up going to Home Depot like me srs
