How many degrees of separation are you from Adolf Hitler?

I recently came across a post about how Kanye is only two handshakes away from Hitler (via Mick Jagger and Leni Riefenstahl). Then I thought about what I would be and figured out the following: 

I met Artie Lange, who met Donald Trump, who met Queen Elizabeth II, whose uncle was Edward VIII, who famously met Hitler in 1937.

Only 5 degrees of separation from one of the most infamous men in history who died 51 years before I was born.

However it might even be smaller because my great-grandfather fought in Mussolini's army (ded fkin srs) and he was still alive until I was a young child, but I'm not exactly sure who he met during the war. It's possible I'm only 3 or 4 degrees of separation away depending how close he or his commanding officer were to Il Duce.

Mind = blown.

What about you boyos?

Required disclaimer: Not trying to glorify Hitler or anything, just thought this would be an interesting thought experiment.

EDIT: Reread the OP and I'm level with Kanye, but I think that's still three degrees of separation not two. Not sure.
