Australian fast casual chain "Guzman y Gomez" closes all US restaurants

Lol, I guess this means Globalization really is ending? An Aussie chain that specialized in Mexican food somehow cannot survive in a US city with a very high Mexican population.

This is funny, because I've actually heard they have good food.

Never heard of it, but their name sucks. Not because it’s two Puerto Rican names, but it’s just overly long, too foreign and provides no insight into the product they’re selling. If I saw a sign for “Guzman y Gomez” I would assume it’s some Mexican law firm and would immediately discard it from my memory.

Moe’s and Chipotle are bold, one word names that are highly marketable.

These cocksuckers stood no chance. Plus, I would never trust an Australian to make Mexican food. Imagine some sloppy phaggot who talks like the crocodile hunter wrapping your burrito. Fuck outta here lmao.

Chicago is a major metropolitan area. There are bound to be hundreds of authentic Mexican restaurants. Of course they can't compete.

They could have called it "Gorditos". That's a name you can trust.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
