I would say you do have one misconception about women.

Men are able to compartmentalize different parts of attraction. We can “her ass is an 8, her personality is a 7, but her tits are 10. Etc”

Women can’t really do that. They can’t separate out the attractive qualities of the man, it’s all rolled into one.

I’ll give you two examples.

The first is Pete Davidson. You ask any guy what they think of his looks, and they’ll all tell you that they don’t get why girls all the sudden find him attractive, he’s not a good looking guy.

But the girls don’t see just his looks. They see that he’s famous, that he works in a cool field, people like him, he does his own thing, and obviously they see that he’s talked about and that other desirable women like him.

If you ask the girl “we if Pete Davidson had the same looks, but works in a shoe store and doesn’t have any of that other perks of success, would you still find him hot?” They basically can’t answer. Because they can’t break it apart like that.

I was also watching the show called The Morning Show with my lady. In thy show Steve Carrell had a beard, wears nice clothes, is powerful, and has a sex scandal. My lady was telling me how she never found Steve attractive but he’s looking good in this.

Then Steve came out with a new show called The Rooster. In this show is back to his more normal kinda bumbling joke you’re used to seeing him play. After a few mins she told me how he’s not attractive anymore.

Although your premise is right. Women don’t care about guys being funny. They do care about status, charisma, career, social status etc. all those things make a guy more attractive to a woman

These traits are great for getting women. If someone struggles to get a woman, they are probably not aware of some other areas they lack in. A good modern casual clothes style, not outdated or trying too hard, or unfitting. They probably need a good haircut, and just need to learn how to act casual and comfortable around women, not trying to impress.
