The fastest person in the world is BRUNY SURIN from Canada. Ran 5.40 in 50 meters in 1999.

The 50 meter dash is more of a display of speed and power than the 100....


The 100 meter dash is like a distance event.
Too far....


Top 3 fastest in the world are as follows..

1. Bruny Surin.... Ran 5.40 in the 50 meters on August 22, 1999.

2. Maurice Greene.. Ran 5.42 in the 50 meters on August 22, 1999.

3. Dwain Chambers. Ran 5.43 in the 50 meters on August 22, 1999.

4. Su Bingtian .... Ran 5.45 in the 50 meters on August 1st, 2021.



Bolt comes in 6th place with a 5.47 in the 50 meters on August 16th, 2009... The night he ran 9.58......


See the difference between the two races?


The top 3 were also just en route times.. I'm pretty sure Surin if he wanted to peak out in the 50 during the course of the summer could break possibly 5.30 and do something like 5.25 in this.

But they don't do the 50 or 60 in the summer.. only winter.

Wouldn't it be awkward if the Olympics officially permitted the use of PEDs and no records end up being broken.
