In a boxing match you're fighting trained opponents, in a "street fight" its usually just some yahoo who practiced hitting a heavy bag for a couple weeks.

Any street fight videos I watched its just 2 guys swinging blindly at each other.

This is retarded. Most people can't fight for shit and are in awful shape. Wailing on someone is one of the most cardio intensive things you can do.

You can win most fights by riding out the 30 seconds or so the average bozo has in him then clocking him clean on the jaw when he runs out of gas. Srs.

Usually the bigger they are the quicker they gas too. Just don't let someone twice your size grab hold of you unless you're particularly good at grappling. Obvs.

Usually people who start fights are the ones that can fight a little at least and they are aggressive and that's why they win.

I think dueling should 100% be a thing. Srs.

The honor system worked. You'd lose a lot of face challenging someone obviously a lot weaker than you (old man, wench, cripple) or just starting on people for no reason. If you were called out for a legit reason and your arse goes everyone thinks you're a pussy forever/you get ostracized. So there was strong incentive to either not be a cunt or back it fucking up after.

The person receiving the challenge got to pick the dueling method, so if you were really good at sword fighting or whatever you're pretty much guaranteed to lose that advantage in the actual duel. Always took place outside of town so innocents were rarely hurt.

Squabbling in the street then some cunt pulling a piece just sends fuckers to the morgue or jail depending on the outcome. Or innocents get tagged. Even if you walk away the police still have to look into it which wastes money/resources.

If two consenting adults want to beat or fucking kill each other, facilitate it. They know the risks.
