The "Omg, I forgot today was Father's Day!" schtick doesn't work so much for Father's Day as it does Mother's Day. Simply because no one cares as a whole about dad's for the most part, so if you forgot it was Father's Day it's pretty much no big deal and your father wouldn't care anyway. However, missing Mother's Day for your mom is one of the worst things you can do.

I was fortunate to have an amazing father though and was grateful for his time here.
