Why is working a thing people value so much. I started realizing that my self worth drops by a million even at the thought of not working 40 hours a week or busting my ass. I’m tired of that and think I’ve been brainwashed. I want to learn how to live like Johnvee. How much better could life be if I just gave up? Probably a lot

I took in my nephew a couple years ago after he spent years in the foster system. He was almost 4 but he has come with severe behavioral issues. Daycares don’t keep him and he was permanently kicked out of the afterschool program here. This reasonably leaves me with 5 hours a day to work. I have a full time job right now (WFH so there’s built in flexibility) but all my stressors have been affecting it so they have me on a PIP and I’ve gotten the impression that they are wanting me gone. I’m trying to push it as long as possible but I have no idea what I’m going to do after that. I have a spark account so I can do deliveries but idfk . This is where I am where I just want to give up rn

Plus I do hate my job and now I get the feeling like they hate me so it’s definitely a shitty situation. I’m going to do my best to keep it but I can’t fight for my job if they want me out. My middle of the ground hope is that I push this for a few more months- get paid at least until the beginning of next year and then I should be ok . Not great but I’ll get through my current budget
