Is the fear of talking to women an example of Darwinism?

Do guys like this end up as genetic dead ends? What would be the evolutionary purpose of a guy being afraid to talk to women?

How can a person not talk to them unless they're a hermit. Females are everywhere and they love to talk

I dont' think it has to do with genetics as much as reinforcement. i bet when you were a kid you had no problem talking to girls your own age, prepubescent so about whatever kids talk about.

however later when you subconsciously noticed that women treat guys different almost strictly on their looks and to a lesser degree what their status is to her (ie she'll be nice to a guy who has some dominion over her ...teachers, group leaders, etc.

personally its stupid to talk to women without a reason. UNLESS you meet the above-mentioned at best you will be treated as a nuisance or necessity (waitress treatment) and at worst like a ditch digger. most men don't realize women have two personalities...the protected personality they don't wanna share with ugly guys no interest in AND conversely the open, laughing, kind generous personality they want to share every nuance of their personality when it comes to a guy she is either attracted to or can affect her in some manner. men tend to treat most people the same i've noticed thats why many women find men to be too blunt or brash...its not that ..its just that men typically don't have dual-personalities they employ when meeting people.

also its a feedback loop ...if lotta women are unresponsive you ain't likely to be extroverted. btw you can tell simply by noticing her immediate microexpressions towards you.

Cliffs; the NBA is rigged.

No, it is just you telling yourself not to do that thing.

Just listen to yourself. You know best

I think the fear of talking to women is just them being more judgmental than men is all.
