Scrolling TikTok when I saw a video about the sentencing and people celebrating. I am not American and have not been following this case. All I know from a quick Google is that he stabbed some other kid at a track meet. What makes it so controversial? It seems like a pretty cut and dry case.

Blacks think the black kid should be set free, normal individuals think he should be put in jail. Everyone thats not black expect riots and looting because black people are upset.
