EDIT: I realized the coolest thing about traveling outside the US is being able to tell people you've been outside the US. AMerica is better by every metric on the mfin real. And even mentioning it is just to impress pussy..can't imagine bringing up traveling to some guy.


I've been all over and the world is almost like 70% a dump compared to the US basic ass suburb life. Of course the touristy places in EU are pretty great if you are a historycel but life = poverty for most. The difference is shocking and hard to put into words. I mean sure Japan and Switz are excluded but most countries are so second-rate to the US...its fucking crazy.

nothing grinds my gears (AND I DONT EVEN HAVE KIDS!) is that somehow someway...the American Dream turned into the World's Dream. Literally every indian wants to stay here and they come here to study but the real goal is transitioning to ANY employment whereby they can gain residency. yknow in my ignorance (like literally I ignored Canada) I never knew how much trade they did with the US they are absolutely reliant on ...its like OVER 85%. I mean it makes sense as they can't exactly compete re: labor costs, but I always thought life was pleasant and you'd see mounties on horseback whatever in my head I envisioned Canada to be from scant childhood-references.

I heard its really bad and the new PM hasn't secured another trade deal with major country in the past year. The internet really has shone a light on so much of what people simply took for granted...none moreso than it is now to many visiting for the World Cup.

Of course there are great other countries like Japan and Switzerland but they are more like going to a fine-dining restaurant...something you do but dont' do everyday...not only for expense but for variety.
