When you consider federal employees with their total compensation and retirement/pensions every one of them you offload is millions on savings but almost no loss of productivity.

I used to work with fed employees and there were some good ones, but the bad ones were absolutely awful. Just completely slowed down productivity or were even counter productive. There needed to be firings to clean out the dead weight.
