I was in this boat for awhile when he only had a few companies. Then he just kept cranking out more and more world changing companies. Paypal, Tesla, Boring Company, SpaceX, Open AI, xAI, Neuralink, Twitter (granted he bought this, but way better now). I probably missed a company or two.

He's also making battery production factories, solar factories, computer chip factories, robot factories to do labor for him, transportation vehicles etc. he's trying to own the entire pipeline of pretty much everything of note that can be manufactured. Eventually he'll have a parallel society with very few or no middle men that can get in the way. Im guessing it all converges at his desire to colonize another planet with said society
