Macbook m1 for 300bucks worth it or nah?

I was looking at the macbook neo. But apprently its worse than the M1. Costs 600.
But this m1 i could get refurbished for only 300

Macbooks last awhile and are solid laptops. I think you mentioned you might be going back to school, its the best laptop for school in my opinion. Work, not so much
