Doctor does a yearly checkup on me since I got sepsis a few years ago.

They did bloodwork and everything came back "PERFECT" my liver function is better than 95% of people and I told the doctor I've been drinking every day since I was 12 taking pills smoking crack occasionally etc he argued that shouldn't be possible but I'm extremely lucky and asked if i wanted booked in for rehab. I said no. (lol wise up)

I was in septic shock for days in 2024 until I got rushed to hospital and they told my mother it's likely I wouldn't survive and if I did my organs would be cooked for life because I'm a stubborn cunt and waited until I collapsed woke up in the hospital days later.

Maybe I'm wolverine because I don't seem to age either receding hairline doesn't count, I still look young as fuck for someone who's coming 36 I look at my old classmates and they've got wrinkles, grey hair, haggard etc

So on routine blood test, they do three liver function tests - ALT, AST and ALK. Even people with fucked up livers can have normal testing for their liver enzyme tests. I would get imaging done before declaring that my liver was one hundred percent, a Fibroscan is the most used test for the liver. But based on your age, it may not be indicated quite yet. And genetics play a huge role in whether or not you develop alcoholic liver disease. Some people can drink like fish until their eighty and some people develop a compensated liver in the thirties

Probably cut himself on an edge of the underside of his sink while hiding down there. Got an infection, disregarded it because crack is life, and the rest is history.

It started off as quinsy a throat infection I thought it was just a flu or cold symptom but gradually it grew until the sack of pus constricted my breathing felt like i was being strangled my face was swollen too. It's extremely painful getting it drained was even worse they stick a needle to the back of ur throat and suck the pus out of it I was spitting blood for a good while after but he got 3 syringes of pus out of it , felt immediate relief

Kept ignoring it until I eventually collapsed and woke up in the hospital. No NDE i don't remember anything tbh (srs)

OP you should get an ultrasound of your liver. that is the only way to confirm that your liver is healthy.

bloodwork only provides an indication of issues.

Last ultrasound I got was 3-4 months after I got discharged from the hospital it came fine too.

How my liver isn't fucked i don't know, i've been drinking heavily since i was 12 and i'm 35 now. Daily + pills almost daily too valium pregabalin etc)
