Even the closest star and planets to our solar system are light YEARS away and Voyager has been traveling at over 38,000mph for 49 years and has only crossed the distance light travels in a DAY. It's barely out of the solar system. At this speed it will take 18,000 years to get 1 light year away.

Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space.

I didn't watch the video, so maybe it was said in there, but just the KNOWN universe is supposed to be around 93 Billion light years across. Then there's an ESTIMATED 200 sextillion stars (think of all the energy that is) in it. It's absolutely insane to think about.

Peoples obsession with space and the nihilistic implications.

Watching that video doesn't horrify me at all. Plenty of more horrifying things in this existence.

All it does is give credibility to the idea this is all meaningless.

These types of videos remind me of that idiot Rogan, doing his podcasts high, amazed at how big the universe is.
