The worst part was after when Ontario health services contacted me asking for all my sexual partners contact info and I hadn’t been sexually active in awhile so didn’t have any. I've never had any. My friend got pretty sick though a couple years back. He said he had a fever, exhaustion and muscle aches etc. He just thought he was sick until he got a bad rash around his angus and mouth. So I went.. I mean he went to the dr after the rash appeared and it turned out to be monkey pox.

Well obviously, every virus stays with you for life. But the symptoms(and your ability to transmit) go away after 12 months. And there are like 8 strains of HPV that cause warts, so you can get it multiple times.

I ended up getting the HPV vaccine afterward though, so should be good from now on though.
