I feel it is fitting and appropriate for a number of reasons. It reminds me of someone. Somebody that I used to know.

I was unaware of the Elliott Rodger connection until we were about a month settled into this place. It’s a little weird to name a forum after a term from his manifesto, but I’ve kinda grown to like it.

There’s an irony to the name too because ER hated “obnoxious brutes” for being aesthetic and getting girls, yet a huge part of this forum is made up of incels lol.
