Been dealing with a lower ab strain for over 4 weeks. Haven't been able to do anything lifting wise or physical. I think it's finally healing more so last night I did some bodyweight exercises. I'm not fully healed yet so, I'm trying to be careful.

Enjoy your day Drew...almost weekend lol

Was supposed to be leg day yesterday but was not feeling well yesterday. Super run down for some odd reason and blood sugar was really high . Normally do push , legs , pull , day off , but I’m debating to get more rest and do push , day off , legs , day off , and back day off .
I dunno , that’s only hitting the same muscle group every 6 days, but seeing as I’m senior citizen, maybe I should consider it .
Funny thing is b4 i fked my tendons I was kicking ass on once every 4 days . It’s like the 4th and 5th month of getting back into it , my strength just went up all of the sudden .
Oh well, maybe I’m being too impatient

That sucks. Glad it’s getting better though.

How did you strain it? Lifting or related or no?

Sorry to hear Kim , hopefully it’s minor and heals soon . One of my fears is getting a hernia , as I’ve heard of complications post op .
Kim do you still compete?

Not lifting gym related. I was doing heavy yard work daily through the entire month of May. I think it might have been from that. I had the same exact injury years ago..strain in lower ab area. I'm gonna hold off a few more weeks before I hit the weights again. For now just cardio and bodyweight crap...better than nothing.

Yeah no hernia's please and thank you. I no longer compete. I started competing in the late 90's and my last show was in 2014 at the age of 45...retired after that.

Respect, damn late 90’s is when I was born. Been miscing for 18 years, since I was 12.
