thank u for advice on training program i agree any reasonable progression focused program will do
and yes the bench squat deadlift and military press has great carry over not only to machines but to ANY movement in sports so they are really fundamental

One thing I forgot to mention with my softball athlete whose training I mentioned is that power cleans are a part of her programming for dynamic speed and power, along with the jumping/slams.
Some kind of think about if you’re comfortable teaching the power clean.
