also the PK system makes no sense. a PK is a guaranteed goal but you can get PKs off fouls that would have been very unlikely to lead to a goal

and in a game that may only have one goal, that system makes no sense

Would I have watched this 20 years ago? 100% no. They shoved soccer down our throats during that period and ruined all of our own sports during that time so I’ve grown to appreciate it. The NBA is full of flopping and travels 8 steps long. The NFL is basically flag football. College sports is all just how much money loser boosters want to put in to determine if you can win or not. Baseball is ok. There’s no Nadal/Federer rivally in tennis. Golf is about all that’s left to watch that isn’t ruined.

The crowd is lit here for this Mexico/England game
