The concept of the trinity is 1800-1900 years old and central to all Christian texts.

Why do you attribute it as a uniquely American perspective? Are you stupid?

I noticed that it's mostly Americans who lose their shit when you calmly point out that the majority of New Testament scholars do not affirm the Trinity.

Have you tried looking inward instead of outward?

If you can’t see the divine spark in all the life around you, in the structure of everything. People sometimes end of finding it within themselves instead.

I’ll try to reverse engineer the perspective to where you sit maybe?

It’s the same as a Hindu finding the Brahmin in the lotus of their heart.

Which a lotus flower grows from muck in bottom of swamp and transforms into beautiful flower.

Like an alchemical process of turning your interior lead to gold.

Unless you fix your own broken perspective you wont have a god to see, you are stuck in the swamp, in the muck, in the darkness, as a broken vessel.

When you fix yourself and adjust your perspective you can clearly see what’s already everywhere, including within you.

So find a way to change yourself to where you love and appreciate life and enjoy being here and everything you are and everyone else, and then it becomes much easier.

So just completely change yourself and your perspective to not be such a pessimistic wise ass, embrace things beyond your current understanding that you find nonsensical and impractical, it gain a perspective of infinite rewards which will not manifest physically in any manner other than how you will be naturally rewarded by everything from your new perspective.

See how it kind of turns into asking you to gaslight yourself from your current understanding no matter how I try to sidestep it?

Because it’s not something anyone else will ever hand you, it’s an internal process that you should go through yourself.

I would start with just listening to your conscience. Like really listening. Ever cringe when you squish a bug? Just a little bit somewhere in your soul. Stop squishing bugs then. Find where your conscience whispers and try to make it happy. See if that small change actually sparks a bigger one.

Or dont

Also for the record I don’t worship the trinity and find myself more aligned with saint augustine in viewing Jesus as a path for humanity to find godhood within itself. Man who was God.

God is too great a concept for me to divide.

But Wittgenstein provides a good perspective for why we can’t agree on words meanings so it doesn’t really bother me. I just assume people aren’t using the right structure and we actually agree.

Deuteronomy 6:4-5
[4]Hear, Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah;
[5]and thou shalt love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength.

Therefore it's clear that Jesus and God can't both be Jehovah, because then you'd have 2 Jehovas.

2:136
Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.

If you want to know what aggressiveley claims looks like, tell a Muslim that Mohammad was not "the profit".
