poor kid knew he was in trouble but was too embarrassed to say something and stop trying to get up that ladder. he thought he could make it then he froze. he just wanted to be one of the team.

this is why i work on grip strength - pull-ups 3x15 daily.

grip strength can save your life.

I think that platform up top looked pretty full and he was just going to chill on the ladder watching whatever they are doing but his hand slipped the metal is probably slick and wet from snow


He didn't move his legs at all before he fell so I don't think he was trying to climb up, not really a good idea to stay on a ladder for a long time either go up to the platform or go back on the ground
