I thought I wanted female friends but realized I don’t want to meet up if I’m not attracted. Thoughts?

I’ve been exchanging numbers with girls in general as I’ve been trying to make friends. Some of them want to hang out and I asked what they want to do. They said maybe go out to eat, go to the mall, go to the beach, or other.

Then I realized I’d rather just not meet because I don’t want to spend money unnecessarily and I don’t think it’ll be fun hanging out with a girl Im not interested in. I also don’t want to run into people I know and they’ll think we’re together. But mostly, it’s the money thing. I’d rather save the money. I’d be paying for only myself but everything is expensive these days.

I’d rather be a friendzoned beta orbitor hanging around an attractive girl.

Thoughts?
