How can we lower crime rates in America? (SRS)

I love my country, but we're pretty good at killing each other. What steps dp you think America needs to take to reduce violence nationwide?

I believe an overhaul of the public school system would work wonders. I think teachers should have more power over their classrooms, and I believe faculty should have motivational training. So many people don't believe they will amount to anything, usually due to bad parenting, but I believe great teachers can help balance this out.

Thoughts?

Legalize prostitution so the droves of FAs with high-powered weapons don't go ER in the future as things worsen between women and men.

Hey Muzzlrpress,

You bring up an age old question for our society. There are different schools of thought, most notably the Classical School of Thought which argues that crime is the result of genetic abnormalities and the Chicago School of Thought which argues that crime is the result of socialization.

I tend to believe that the majority of crime is a result of socialization and the three key theories I feel explain crime best are Broken Windows Theory, Strain Theory and Socialization Theory. The TL;DR of each theory:

Broken Windows Theory: a rundown, industrial center with factories that have "broken windows", while possibly in full operation, can lead to further urban decay by people because of a lack of regard for the neighborhood;

Strain Theory: the individuals of a society feel the strain of Mainstream society to own certain material items (clothes, cars, electronics) and either conform to society and get jobs or are "innovators" and use alternative avenues (could be crime, doesn't have to be) to obtain what society says we should want;

Socialization Theory: We're blank slates as children and our peers (parents, teachers, siblings, friends) act as examples of how we should behave in society.

There are other fine theories such as Subcultural Theory that help to explain why crime happens. There's no one real answer or solution to it.

Free birth control would reduce the number of unwanted children growing up in broken/abusive homes and would therefore reduce crime significantly.

Also expanding mentoring programs (eg Big Brother/Big Sister), which are proven to reduce a kid's chances of going to prison.

the crime rate has actually been going down since the 90's. but we have criminal laws on the books which most people break every day, so the rate is high

That might help if they actually took it. Birth control is relatively free. When I was in college and poor I got my BC from Planned Parenthood and all it cost was a donation of my choosing because my income was so low. So I'd pay like $20 then they'd give me a 6 month supply of pills. Condoms are also free and Planned Parenthood. You can literally walk in say "I want condoms" and they will give them to you at no charge.

I agree with this. Most of the people doing these killings come from broken homes. They have no structure and basically it's a vicious cycle. Parents didn't have both parents in the home. Kid has a kid out of wedlock and raises them as a single parent and their kid learns the same **** and repeats the steps. It's not good having a low support system not to mention most of these single parent homes or violent offenders are low income which only makes it worse.

Legalizing Marijuana, prostitution, and gambling nationwide. Not imprisoning non-violent drug offenders

Drugs aren't a problem anymore, economy benefits from legal sales and taxes
Kissless virgins extinct, unemployed people making bank with natural human skills, cuckrage-induced shootings plummet
People would be busy stimulating the economy gambling like it's the new stock market instead of going to Vegas for a select few days

It has lowered. We live in like the safest times since like the 50's and it's still lowering. The only reason crime is still this high is because of bullchit laws (like war on drugs)

-legalize everything
-stop publishing racially inflammatory propaganda on TV, internet and schools
-a gun for everyone
-teach people about love and labor instead of blame and entitlement
The muscles i value most are the ones directly surrounding the spine, the hips, the scapula, the femur and the tibia... in that order.

Basically the whole body minus chest and biceps... pretty much the opposite of what your local gym looks like on a typical Monday.

As a bruh who lived in the hood there needs to be some kind of psychotic evaluations or some kind of help for people in those environments.

The **** I've seen and the people around me were just in horrible mental states because of what went on around us.
