Similar thing happened to me and my friends.


- Friends potato GPS took use through the bad part of the city and cops stop us for no reason

- Soon as both cops got to the window they looked at us and said why were we in this neighborhood. (So because we were white, in a nice car, members of the S & P crew,,,they assumed we would never live on the bad side of the city....that's racist! Rent in the city is crazy high)

- One cop said we are either lost or looking for drugs

- We of course said we were lost, showed him the gps was on and he let us go and told us we should get out of there asap and never come back. ( I'm sorry isn;t this America where I'm free to go where I please, or where these potato GPS takes us)

Because people always post videos of when police do nice things. lol Just no. Look at anything customer service related. 90% of the time, the only thing people want to give feedback about is bad service. In most cases, people only start recording if they see something bad, rarely if it's good.

This post doesn't reflect my opinion of what happened in the video. I was just pointing out how flawed and naive such a comment is.

As far as the video goes, unless there is something else that happened, then sure, it's messed up. I won't even begin to defend that officer. In fact, my first two thoughts were that he appears to be well dressed and driving a nice car, so how the hell does he think he would be in the wrong neighborhood in the first place? Did he rob some white dude of his clothing and his car just before the cop pulled him over? xD
