9.5 years of gym training (100% natural)

These aren't my 1 rep maxes but I am damn proud of what I have achieved

Squats 405 @ 166.76lbs (8 reps)

Bench 315 @ 167.86lbs (posted this in early March I believe) (8 reps)

Deadlift 495 @ 166.76lbs (8 reps)

Aiming to get 10 reps on each which I think I will (comfortably) next year.

Lol thanks for the tip - When I decide to lean down and compete again for BBing, that's when I will get rid of the chest hair !

Push out the slack from the bar before you even attempt to lift the bar! Pause every rep - I know the video contradicts this but at the time I was trying to go for 10 reps touch and go - if you want better hypertrophy / strength gains (this is for me personally atleast) pause every rep! Tricep work too - don't know a thing about you so you can take something away from this

Thanks bro! - Lol from the front and the side the hair is good - from the back there's a spot of missing hair! Alopecia areata - going away now but still looks lame... Lol. Atleast it's not huge

Mirin.

I doubt that I'll ever get close to where you are, especially since I started rather late. By the time I get 9 years in I'll be 40 and fighting the aging process and decreasing test levels.

to my standards, actually im mirin his squats since my squats are something I wish I was stronger at, its at 285 for 3 atm, 425 deadlift and 295 bench (could prolly hit 300) and im 182-184 at 6 ft

we respect those that are better than us and have what we wish to achieve so I dont really mire anyones lift unless its like a plate higher than what I can do.

Nah man don't ever think like that - it's just consistency.. I started lifting 2007.. Competing bodybuilding 2009 and started powerlifting 2014 - going to be 30 next year and I plan to keep going until I can't no more.

If possible, try olympic lifting

How have you gone with progression in the last few years. Do you feel you're still adding strength/mass consistently (even if it is slow)?

Many injuries along the way?

Thanks homie

Ok so in terms of progression I see SLOW gains - my physique is very slow but when I compare for example this pic to last years pic, theres a tiny difference that the average person may not see.. in 2014 I decided to give PLing a try and I kinda use the increase in lifts to guage progress now. In BBing I could only do 220lbs x 10 or 245lbs x 10 on a good day - now I can do 375lbs for 10

to me that's progress - I will find out how much gains I've made to my physique either next year or the next. Just trying to reach the 'elite' in my class before I switch back to bbing and try for a natty pro card

Nah man *knock on wood* - my right pec sorta hurts but I take mobility / stretching more serious than lifting . started 2015 April to mobilize my self and it's the best thing you can do man. It's lame and takes 20 mins or so but worth it... Think long term

Lol nah man I got this one guy in my class who who just came top 10 in the worlds - he's the man! I have taken out an overall in both BBing and PLing though - main goal now is to reach that elite standard in November (elite for NZL standards lol - 1265lbs at 165lbs)

To be honest I don't HAVE to have music when I train. The only ritual I'd do though is watch someone way stronger than I am on youtube and watch them make light weight of what I want to do. That sorta gets me in the zone mate
