No it isn't. Go alone.. I did.

Quit my job after graduating, booked a flight and spent a year in Australia/SE Asia.

Saved enough (whilst working) in the last year of university and was gonna spend it on a new car, but thought fuk that and got the fuk outta here.

No regrets/10. Came back home, got a good job and i'm in the same place if not better off financially than most of the people I went to uni with.

I did have to work in Aus though otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford it. But my job was jokes repossessing cars.
Current status: Chunky.

respect. i feel like it would be so mch more fun with just atleast one good friend sharing the experience with you. but if that cant happen, then i should stop putting it off regardless..

The best part of going alone was you had no obligations.

Didn't like who you were with? Bail. No harm done.

Difficult when you've got a good friend because it can go either way and either make you bros for life or ruin a friendship.

You'll make solid bros when you're out there if you go alone so don't worry about that. I was only alone for the first day and then always had a solid (different every place) crew for the next 11 months.

I've offered to pay for the entire trip to a couple good friends. They still cant take just the ~2weeks off work, or have an internship stating..
