BREAKING: Scientists say giant asteroid could hit Earth next week

Scientists have discovered a massive asteroid that is on course to hit the Earth next week, and are scrambling to find a way to divert the object.

The asteroid has been named 2016-FI and measures approximately 1 km across. If it strikes a populated area is could wipe out entire cities and potentially devastate an entire continent

If an asteroid that big hit earth it would end all life, not just the city it hits. An impact that size would send so much dust and debris into our atmosphere that we'd have little to no sunlight penetrating the atmosphere.

Edit - checked it out and it said that 59% of shared posts on social media aren't even checked before being shared.

No it wouldn't.

1km and more than half would burn out before it made impact on the ground.

The world needs to wakeup, our biggest issues right now are overpopulation and bacteria evolving to withstand all medication. In an ideal world, Doctors would be arrested for handing out drugs for little things, and people for not using up ALL their medication. If you were in the hospital and decided not to finish your prescription because you feel fine, you're 1 of the reasons the human race is going to end.

It's simply evolution. By not taking all your presciption, your not killing all the bacteria. The surviving bacteria evolves to be resistant to that medication and that gets passed on and on.
