SJWs going crazy over Matt Damon's film The Great Wall.

So a lot of SJWs/libs/progressives/*******s are triggered because Matt Damon's new film The Great Wall is a fantasy based film that involves the great wall of China, except there's white characters in it, especially as the leads.

An actress who goes by the name of Constance Wu rages about the film on social media.

Here's the thing these idiots don't seem to realize, Chinese/Japanese/Korean/etc studios, are more than welcome to make films that represent the Asian culture. In fact, they do. But the reality of the situation is, if studios want to get exposure in the biggest market, which is America, it needs to have incentives for the general public to watch it. Hence, why a The Great Wall has Matt Damon and other western stars as leads. Let's also not forget the fact that this movie has giant monster lizards in it. But these goofballs seem to think it's misappropriating their culture regardless.

Again, nothing is stopping foreign studios from financing and making films as they please. But for some reason, some people think it's Hollywood's job to change the tide in the industry based on feelings.

The dude kind of has a knack for triggering SJWs. During his show on HBO called Project Greenlight, there was a black female contestant who asked why there wasn't more diversity in the casting of the actors/actresses. Matt told her something like "Diversity will come later in the production crew, and not necessarily in the casting." Rustled some jim jams. The funny thing is that having a black person play Roland makes no sense in the general story line. There's an old woman in the movie who hates black people and has a dialogue with Roland about it. How does that fit in now that they've artificially made Roland black?

Obviously it is. And General Tsao runs away in the movie during a big battle. Hence, why we have a dish today called General Tsao's Chicken. It's a really historically accurate film.

The producers along with Matt Damon, mostly being American, should have known better. Matt Damon is your typical Hollywood liberal hack SJW but I guess he just couldn't realize that this was going to get backlash.

Here's how it works in the mainstream media. Traditionally white characters can be replaced with other races no problem. Why? Because fuk white people. If you complain that a white or male character is being arbitrarily replaced by another race or gender (Hermione being played by a black girl in the Harry Potter play), then you're a racist or misogynist. On the flip side, a white person should never replace a character that is traditionally played by a minority/oppressed group. A huge double standard.
