You brahs insecure about girls making more money than you?

A coworker was carrying on about the fact that he met a girl that is a director level at a top 50 company on the fortune 500 list and mentioned "she makes great money...more than me". I laughed and asked why they mattered and he couldn't answer.

People really care about that? Who cares if she makes more money...just means more cash for both of you.

Providing isn't only financial but your finances are an integral part of your lifestyle. High level sloots tend to like higher level lifestyles that better finances gives her.

A woman always liked to see her man can take her to the next level in multiple ways. Financially is one of the very common ones.

I would prefer it. Wouldn't feel as bad about not providing the material things I think she deserves if she can get it herself.

I think the insecure ones are the guys who aren't trying to advance their careers to a point of making more or an equal amount.

No, if anything, I welcome it. Putting my wife through med school should prove pretty useful. Its unfortunate but income is viewed as a "household income," whether you are single or not. How much home or land you but will depend on an old lady's income if you aren't an entrepreneur or something. She supported me while we were young and I did undergrad (she did minimal schooling, worked 40+) and now grad, and I'll support her through her education.

Massive non-issue provided we are both moving forward and happy in our careers. Money is just a bonus for either party.

Now if I were working a dead end job and she was killing it in the professional world then I'd feel pretty rubbish.

If I were in a relationship with a woman, I'd prefer that she'd at least be my intellectual and financial equal. Why would you want to get involved with a partner and not have them complement you?

I wonder how many people say they do t care are younger also.

When you are 30+ and your wife is picking up the dinner check for you cause she out hustles you, it's often a problem.

I lose a fair amount of respect for men who are babied like this as well.

lol I'm not even sure what you're talking about. You're assuming more money = outhustling?

In my case, my wife is an ER Nurse and i'm a teacher. We are in our thirties.

edit: If anything it's the opposite. Younger people getting in a twist over something that... after you've been together for a number of years, means nothing.
