Tinder has gotten worse

I feel like the 80/20 rule is now 90/10 or something. Two years ago I was getting several matches daily, now I'm lucky to get one.
I've been told I'm good looking by a few different sources (dated pretty girls etc.), but I'm definitely not top tier.

So it that the deal now, you gotta be a male model? Or are users just not active anymore?

I was messaging one girl, and then yesterday she sent me a 2 word response - pretty much "lol! blah". There is no fcukin way I'm responding to that sort of laziness.

I dont even use the shiit and always got new matches. I live in UK. Never use it and i have 250 matches and ive had it a bit over a month. I prefer meeting girls in the club really..

honestly bro put yourself in their shoes. if 90% of the girls you thought was semi attrative, as soon as you swiped right on them it turned out it was a match.. and then within 5 min of a match most girls would message you something indicatnig they were interested in meeting up for drinks. and you got easily 50 - 90 matches in 10 minutes of swiping each day... wouldn't you pick from the very cream of the crop? why would you even give a 7/10 a chance , even if shes lovely on the inside, when there is five 9/10s angling to see you too? you might lure the 7/10 along with a few "lol"s and "haha ya im a waitress" and other such responses that don't continue the conversation, and you would lol as the 7/10 keeps trying to keep the convo going, and you would just pocket the 7/10 in case the 9's all bail or something that night (which is rare but does happen)

Im ethnic and averaging 1-2 matches a day excluding bots, rarely get a 7/10 maybe once a week. Chits depressing sometimes lol

maybe its because people actually go out during summer and do sht instead of LDAR at home and using tinder to hookup, maybe if you do stuff normal people do you wouldn't have tinder problems

That's true. I don't really have any expectations. I'm pretty selective with my swiping so I assume 9's are messaging the same girls.

Had tinder a couple years ago. Got loads of matches. Deleted it... Rejoined this summer... matches way down. My theory is girls are more selective since tinder limits matches now and they have obviously gotten to the point where it's easy for them so they don't need to match average guys. too many WK's and Chads out there for us black knight/slightly above average dudes to have a chance. Time to go white knight

Think it may have to do with sloots being out slooting in the summer and not having to use tinder as much?

I get a few matches a day being somewhat selective, but I'm lucky if I match with a legit 8/10 and if I do, she usually doesn't respond or flakes.
