Is it fair to say Team GB is cucking the USA hard @ the Olympics?

FACTS:

USA has an 80% larger population
16 of 26 gold medals for USA come from swimming (lmao)
Halfof all medals for USA come from swimming (lmao)
GB has well over half the amount of gold and total medals USA has despite the massive difference in population

So, is it fair to say GB has the far superior athletes?

Lol these threads never go well as there are so many Americans on this board.

The fact of the matter is that they are by far and away the best in the world at swimming and because there are SO many medals available in swimming they top the medal table. If swimming was as condensed as most other sports they'd probably be around the same medal count as us and China.

No one can deny Britain does extremely well based on our population. What America achieves isn't impressive especially considering the swimming medals on offer.

They still just about edge us. First time in ages I feel proud to be British though, we've actually delivered for once.

I think most people would agree that the swimming medal structure is complete bullchit though. Not taking anything away from the muricans but I have no idea how that's even fair.
